Akili TV is entering its next phase of growth and they are looking for a Brand & Commercial Communications Strategist.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own Akili TV’s strategic narrative
Translate product into commercial value
Position Akili TV to attract aligned clients
Drive revenue-aligned storytelling
Protect and elevate brand perception
Brand architecture & messaging discipline
Serve as a strategic partner to leadership
What success looks like
Akili TV is widely understood as a family-focused, brand-safe commercial platform
Perception shifts away from “kids channel” toward the only trusted industry platform that engages with this TA
Akili sales team members are better supported and more confident in what they’re selling
Akili TV attracts inbound interest from aligned partners across target sectors
Marketing activity is focused, intentional, and commercially relevant
Marketing initiatives directly contribute to revenue growth
Sector clients proactively engage with us
Sales conversations are clearer, stronger, and more confident
What we’re looking for
You are likely someone who:
Thinks in terms of business models, value propositions, and revenue impact — not just campaigns.
Understands that storytelling is a commercial tool, not an artistic exercise.
Is motivated by shaping perception and influencing decision-makers, not just building visibility.
Can translate audience insight into narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders.
Enjoys operating at the intersection of communications, product, and strategy.
Is comfortable advising leadership and challenging assumptions when needed.
Has repositioned or reframed a brand before — and can articulate how and why it worked.
