Digital Health Implementation and Delivery Lead

We're hiring a Digital Health Implementation and Delivery Lead

This is a senior leadership position. You understand how complex digital health systems are built, and you know how to get them across the finish line on time, within scope, and in a way that actually works for the people using them. If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.

You'll lead end-to-end delivery of digital health solutions including requirements and architecture, deployment and transition to operations. You'll work directly with our Solutions Architect, Business Analysis and Design team, engineering team, and our Project Management Office and you'll serve as the primary technical lead in client engagements, translating complex requirements into scalable, interoperable solutions that serve health systems across Africa.
This role reports directly to the CEO and sits within the Senior Management Team.

What you'll bring:
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or software engineering.
- Prior hands-on engineering experience in software development, systems engineering, or solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and healthcare standards including HL7 FHIR or DICOM.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring, Python, or JavaScript/Node.js
- Experience with cloud platforms and mHealth technologies.
- PMP or PRINCE2 and Agile/Scrum certification is required.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Software Engineering, IT, Project Management or a related field is an added advantage.
