DevOps

Smart Applications International is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Digital Transformation Division and help build and operate secure, scalable, and highly reliable infrastructure for enterprise digital platforms. This role will focus on automating software delivery, strengthening system security, and improving infrastructure reliability across our microservice-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery.

• Manage containerized environments and orchestration platforms for microservice architectures.

• Configure and optimize load balancing, reverse proxy, and service traffic routing.

• Implement secure identity, access management, and secrets management practices.

• Establish logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.

• Support distributed system components such as messaging platforms, caching layers, and object storage.

• Strengthen DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability management and infrastructure hardening.

• Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and governance processes.

• Conduct business continuity and disaster recovery simulations.

• Work closely with engineering teams to resolve deployment and integration challenges.

• Mentor junior engineers and maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  

• 5+ years of experience in a professional IT environment.
  

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  

• Experience supporting microservice-based systems in production environments.
  

• Cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are an added advantage.

• CI/CD automation and modern DevOps practices
  

• Containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
  

• Networking (load balancing, SSL/TLS, service exposure)
  

• Distributed systems (messaging, caching, storage)
