JAVA House is hiring a Branding Coordinator to join it's team.

Job Description

  • Ensure consistent and timely execution of brand identity across all restaurant locations and brand environments. This role supports the translation of brand strategy and creative direction into tangible, high-quality branding elements across physical spaces, artwork, signage and visual assets

  • Works closely with marketing, projects, operations, designers, artists, suppliers and other stakeholders, and manages the end-to-end coordination of branding implementation, ensuring all brand touchpoints are implemented accurately, align with brand standards and are delivered on schedule- particularly regarding new restaurant openings and renovations, and brand refresh initiatives.

  • Coordinates branding production, manages creative assets and ensures every location reflects the intended Java House brand experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Brand Implementation & Coordination

  • Coordinate the implementation of branding mood boards and branding elements across new projects, locations and other brand environments

  • Ensure all branding materials align with established brand guidelines and visual identity standards.

Project Management

  • Track timelines and deliverables related to branding for new openings and brand refresh projects

  • Coordinate across internal teams to ensure branding requirements are integrated into project schedules.

  • Ensure all branding elements are delivered and installed before launch deadlines.

  • Work with various teams; marketing, operations, design teams and external partners to ensure seamless implementation.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with printing vendors, signage suppliers, fabricators, and other branding partners

  • Obtain quotes, manage timelines and ensure suppliers deliver according to specifications

  • Follow up on production and installation of branding materials.

Artist & Artwork Coordination

  • Liaise with artists and designers to commission, develop and finalize art and artworks

  • Manage portfolio of artists with regular recruitments to refresh artist portfolio

  • Coordinate approvals and ensure artwork meets brand requirements

  • Manage delivery timelines for art pieces and installations within restaurant spaces.

Licensing & Compliance

  • Coordinate with JH security Officer to obtain branding-related licensing or permissions where required

  • Ensure the use of artwork, design assets and related branded materials comply with licensing agreements.

Artist & Artwork Coordination

  • Liaise with artists and designers to commission, develop and finalize art and artworks

  • Manage portfolio of artists with regular recruitments to refresh artist portfolio

  • Coordinate approvals and ensure artwork meets brand requirements

  • Manage delivery timelines for art pieces and installations within restaurant spaces.

Launch Readiness Support

  • Support new restaurant openings by ensuring all branding elements are ready ahead of launch.

  • Develop and maintain a branding checklist for new openings including signages and artworks.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all brand-related deliverables are completed in time for openings and launches.

  • Coordinate Photoshoots for new locations and branding updates where necessary.

Planning & Budgeting

  • Deliver restaurant brandings within allocated budgets.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Store Openings, LSM initiatives, Reporting, ROI on initiatives

Key Result Areas/ Key Performance Indicators (5-6 areas) Key result areas (KRAs) broadly define the job profile for the employee and enable them to have better clarity of their role. KRAs should be well-defined, quantifiable, and easy to measure. It also helps employees to align their role with that of the organization.

  • Brand Implementation accuracy in compliance with brand guidelines across all locations.

  • On-time branding delivery completed according to project timelines and meet launch deadlines

  • Supplier delivery of branding materials on time and according to specifications

  • Cost control of Branding production costs within approved budgets.

  • Liaison with various stakeholders; operations, suppliers, artists, compliance on branding activity.

  • Reporting

  • 100% On time execution of new store branding

  • 100% Brand consistency across locations and touchpoints

  • Active artist portfolio management

  • 100% delivery of new restaurant branding within budget.

 

Job specifications: Define the skills, knowledge, and experience specific to the job in question (includes generic skills).

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project management or related field. 

Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in marketing; branding, design coordination or brand project management.

  • Design experience is and added advantage

 

Core COMPETENCIES: Core competency is fundamental knowledge, ability, or expertise in a specific subject area or skill set.

  • 2 years of hospitality, agency, marketing experience

  • Strong project management skills

  • People management skills and experience working with designers, artists, agencies

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Familiarity with branding practices is required

  • Excellent organizational, communication, planning and interpersonal skills.

  • Good written and verbal skills.

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills.

  • Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.

  • Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to site nature, and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays.
